Hurricane prep for vacant South Florida homes
When a tropical system enters the forecast, we run your written plan: shutters or panel installation, outdoor furniture secured, generators tested if on site, and interior steps such as raising valuables or checking sump pumps. NeverAbsent runs pre-storm visits. We document the property before landfall with photos—useful for insurance and for peace of mind. If you are a snowbird already back north during hurricane season, a local team can run your checklist.
Post-storm visits and next steps
After the storm we check whether the house is dry and closed up. Post-storm visits check roofs, windows, terraces, and interiors for water intrusion, then secure it if possible. You receive photo reports quickly so restoration or roofing vendors can be engaged without flying down first. Storm prep and post-storm visits are available across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach. If an alarm trips or a neighbor reports damage, that can be an emergency visit.
